Location: Farm House Museum, Iowa State University campus
Built in 1860, the Farm House was Iowa State University’s first building and has been central to the development of campus, Iowa State heritage, education, innovation, and national policy.
This special America 250 exhibition honors key people, moments, objects, and experiences centered within the Farm House through more than 250 primary source objects that trace the land-grant university's heritage and the nation's evolution.
This free event is part of Iowa's "America 250: Along the Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway" series, presented by Ames Public Library, Ames History Museum, Iowa Department of Transportation, Iowa State University - University Museums, and Prairie Rivers of Iowa.
