All ages are welcome to attend Des Moines Metro Opera's free performance at the Library of Beauty and the Beast, the classic story of a prince cursed to spend his days as a hideous monster until he vows to regain his humanity by earning a young woman's love.
 

Presented in partnership with Ames Public Library and the Ames Chapter of the Des Moines Metro Opera Guild. Supported in part through local option tax funds provided by the City of Ames through the Commission on the Arts and by the Ames Public Library Friends Foundation.
