Bring your puppet to life in a joyful community parade! Whether you built your puppet at the October 4 workshop at the Ames Public Library, at the Octagon Art Festival, or created your own at home, you're invited to join families, artists, and puppet enthusiasts in a colorful procession through Bandshell Park.
We’ll gather at the Ames Public Library at 10 AM, then parade together to Bandshell Park in a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the magic of puppetry in communities. This whimsical event is part of Puppet Power 2025: Applied Puppetry Conference.
Presented in partnership with ISU Department of Music and Theatre, Ames Public Library, and Octagon Center for the Arts.
Ames Public Library connects you to the world of ideas through diverse and inclusive resources and programs. We welcome proposals via our website for programs at www.amespubliclibrary.org/programproposal and exhibits at https://www.amespubliclibrary.org/exhibit-proposal.
