Celebrate Juneteenth with variety of activities, live entertainment, food vendors, games, and much more!
The Bookmobile will be there to give away books featuring Black authors, illustrators, and characters (while supplies last).
Visitors can also enjoy a StoryWalk® around the park as you read Sprouting Wings: The True Story of James Herman Banning, the First African American Pilot to Fly Across the United States by Louisa Jaggar.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
