Jeffrey Prater, Professor Emeritus at Iowa State University's Department of Music and Theatre, will talk about The San Francisco Symphony in advance of their performance in Ames.

Widely considered to be among the most artistically adventurous and innovative arts institutions in the U.S., the San Francisco Symphony will perform at Stephens Auditorium on March 29. Participants at the Library’s “Learn More Before” event may enter a drawing to win tickets to the March 29 performance.

Provided in partnership with Ames Public Library, Ames International Orchestra Festival Association, and Iowa State Center. This project is supported, in part, by the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
