Are you on social media? Do you watch the news? Come join graduate students from the Department of Psychology at Iowa State for an informative panel discussion on how to improve your media literacy skills!

Discussion will feature real-world examples and introduce the science behind the media we all spend time with.

Topics include recognizing reputable sources, spotting hidden ads, understanding health news, the positive benefits of media, and the effects of video games.

Presentations from students will be followed by a Q&A.
