Get a glimpse of some of Orchesis I Dance Company’s Project Earth, a program of dances inspired by themes of Sustainability and Climate Change, for their annual modern dance performance Barjche. 

Guest artists, dance faculty and student choreographers will collaborate with ISU faculty from the departments of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, and Natural Resource Ecology and Management.

One audience member will win two tickets to the show at Iowa State Center's Fisher Theater.

Orchesis I is a student organization specializing in aspects of professional dance training. The company was established in 1926 as Iowa State's first dance group.

Presented in partnership with Ames Public Library, Orchesis I Dance, the ISU Dance Program, and the ISU Kinesiology Department Barjche’ 2022 Project Earth.
