Bring the family for a community celebration of Dr. Yen Verhoeven's new book, Rebel Teaching. After the presentation, families are invited to participate in fun hands-on STEM activities and demos by local businesses, organizations, and partners in our community who support education. 

Dr. Yen Verhoeven is a learning theorist and award-winning speaker with over 21 years of experience teaching science and education. Her new book, Rebel Teaching: How to Repurpose the American Education Machine strives to start a revolution with teachers, educators, administrators, and librarians by challenging how we approach teaching our children. 

Dr. Verhoeven will be available to sign copies of her book.
