Purpose of Meeting
The Ames Sanctuary Interfaith Partners (ASIP) supports the needs and humane treatment of our asylum-seeking and undocumented immigrants. This includes our DACA immigrants. Our members come from 13 Ames faith congregations (to date) including the Christian, Jewish, Islamic, and Buddist faith. We have greatly appreciated the special "neutral" location for our once-a-month Assembly Meetings in the library and for the quiet and peaceful setting that is provided.
