Join Dewey Bear and youth services staff in a sing-a-long with story and related early literacy activities perfect for toddlers, their families, and their friends.

Team up and work cooperatively at this family friendly program as you try to escape from Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. The same challenge will be presented each time, so choose the date that works best for you:

Enjoy our fun-filled summer storytimes at the library. Each week features a different theme accompanied by songs and movement activities. Caregivers are encouraged to get in on the action, too!

Sing, sign, read, and play together. Join with other caregivers and their pre-walkers and older siblings for 20 minutes of conversation and play. Everyone will have fun meeting others and learning something new.

Toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers are invited to drop in to the Youth Makerspace area for this laid-back experience of exploring and creating. We supply the materials.

Having a full stomach of good food is important for everyone in the summer! Take this opportunity to share a meal together.

Share what you've read recently—fiction or nonfiction—and hear about what everyone else is reading. Be prepared to give a brief description and your opinion about one or two books you've listened to or read.
