Visit the Library's entryway to see portraits by Ames High School (AHS) art students created for The Memory Project.

The Memory Project invites artists around the world to create portraits as special gifts for children facing challenges.

The Memory Project has partnered with a charity for children in Sierra Leone. AHS art students created their portraits so that they can send a message of kindness, respect, and encouragement.

These portraits will be on display at the Ames Public Library throughout the month of February. They will be delivered to the children in Sierra Leone in March.
