Title -- Horizontes: Three Generations of Cuba’s National Ballet Dancers (2015) 1hr 11m

Join us for a new film series which aims to give viewers an intimate account of life in Latin American and Caribbean countries to create knowledge and build bridges across geographies, individuals and between communities.

Dr. Lucia Suarez, Director of ISU Latino/a Studies Program, will introduce each of the series’ films setting the stage for a brief journey into contemporary Cuba, the island, its immigrants and its exiles.

Through different generations of Cuban ballet dancers, Eileen Hoffer shows love and passion for dance. Follow three strong women who completely dedicated their lives to ballet; their interwoven stories give an enchanting glimpse of ballet talent, past, present and future.
