Topic -- Alaska: Fire and Ice
Speakers -- Matt Wetrich, Wolf Oesterreich, and Eric Ollie
In July this year Big Bluestem Audubon Society (BBAS) led a week-long birding and nature tour to the wilds of Alaska. Through snow-capped mountains, glacier-filled valleys, and forests of spruce and aspen, many birds, land and sea mammals, insects and wildflowers were found. Join participants for a tour of their adventures, told through their pictures and tales.
Matt Wetrich, Wolf Oesterreich, and Eric Ollie are all long-time BBAS members and current or former BBAS board members. Matt is the Carroll County Naturalist, Wolf is a retired USDA Biologist, and Eric is a transit bus driver for CyRide.
